Full Episode

On the 5th March 1942, a Spitfire left the small Scottish town of Wick on a life threatening mission. It's pilot was Alastair Gun, a second lieutenant with the RAF and an expert in reconnaissance. His mission was to observe the movements of the German battleship Tirpitz. However, Alastair was killed when his plane was shot down over Norway. In the modern day, historian Professor Alice Roberts joins a team of archaeologists to discover the remains of this fateful mission.
