During the 9th century, the Carolingian Empire ruled vast swathes of Europe including modern day France. There power and might was absolute, but this didn't prevent Viking raiders pillaging their cities. In 885, longboats appeared on the Seine and began to row towards Paris. Clash of Ancient Warriors is a series that uses modern science to investigate the mysteries of the most legendary battles from ancient times.
