In Deadman’s Curse, former MMA fighter Kru Williams and young indigenous explorer Taylor Starr join legend hunter and mountaineer Adam Palmer to solve the mystery of Slumach’s lost goldmine. Hidden somewhere in the rugged terrain of the Pacific Northwest, its mysterious location has eluded prospectors for generations.
Episode one gets off to a promising start as Taylor unearths new testimony from a witness to Slumach’s execution and a deathbed letter sends Adam and Kru on a dangerous glacial trek. However, throughout the series, they must battle extreme weather and unforgiving terrain to get to the bottom of a 100-year-old curse.
