How to watch 'Ross Kemp: Mafia and Britain'
Crime meets history in this new five-part series that sees Ross Kemp investigate Britain's surprising connection to the mafia.
Award-winning actor and journalist Ross Kemp is returning to Sky HISTORY this September for a brand-new series. Remaining on dry land this time around, Ross will be investigating Britain’s somewhat surprising connection with the mafia in Ross Kemp: Mafia and Britain.
Mafia bosses, capos and hitmen have lived all over the UK, some in the most unlikely of places. Hiding in plain sight, we now know that these mobsters frequented semi-detached houses, cafés, shoe shops and even caravan parks.
Ross takes viewers on a worldwide journey to follow a trail of illegal money and drugs. The intricate path, where history meets globalisation, reveals the true reality of Britain’s historical relationship with the mob.
Ross learns about Britain’s roles in establishing the mafia through exports of alcohol during prohibition to the relationship between the five families and the notorious Kray Twins. He also investigates the fall of the US mob and the impact that had on the Colombian drug cartels.
Crime meets history in this new five-part series and it’s not long until you can watch these fascinating stories unfold.
