Tim Jones received a PhD in British counterinsurgency from King’s College London in 1992 and lectured at Liverpool University, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University, 1995-98. He has been a journalist in London since 1998 and written comedy and music publications, as well as on military history.
