In 1969, on stage in Miami, history was made when Jim Morrison, lead singer with popular rock combo The Doors, performed the first recognised ‘wardrobe malfunction’. The self-proclaimed Lizard King may or may not have been completely wasted when he decided to introduce the audience to ‘little Jim’, but either way he was arrested a few days later and threatened with jail, but cleverly avoided prosecution by dying. In 2010, Jim was granted a posthumous pardon by the state of Florida for his alleged flashing, which must have made him feel much better.
