It was on this day in 2007 that the new Wembley finally finished construction, with the keys handed over to the Football Association, probably utilising a novelty, Wembley-shaped fob. Though it was several years and millions of pounds overdue, the new world class stadium was finally ready to accommodate a fixture worthy of launching this magnificent edifice: Kidderminster Harriers versus Stevenage Borough in the FA Trophy Final.
