Guided by veteran comedian Kevin Kropinyeri, Al meets with Glenda Chalker, a Dharawai Elder and descendant of survivors of the Appin Massacre. This brutal attack saw 14 First Nation people killed on the authority of the British governor of New South Wales. In each location, Al pairs up with a local comedian to explore the history of British colonial rule and its legacy. Together – with local experts and historians - they find out about the origins of British rule, its impact upon each country and how its legacy continues to influence governance, culture, and attitudes.
