In October 2024, Holocaust survivor Lily Ebert passed away at the age of 100. With the help of her great-grandson, Lily shared her experiences of Auschwitz on TikTok, reaching a global audience and educating a whole new generation about the horrors of the Holocaust. In this video, filmed in 2022, Lily talks about her life before the war in Hungary and her experiences in Auschwitz-Birkenau. Lily spent four months in Auschwitz before being sent to Germany where she was forced to work as a slave labourer in a munitions factory.
